is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, working to address the health, safety and societal issues of urban neglect. Abandoned properties and condemned homes create roadblocks to opportunity and an invitation to crime. They lower home values and increase anxiety. As more neighbors give up hope and leave, the neglect spreads - smothering entire neighborhoods.
Revitalize Mississippi demolishes derelict properties, cleans overgrown lots, assists neighborhood leaders to help strengthen neighborhood organizations, and partners with local organizations to build new, affordable housing. With your help, we’re not only rebuilding long-neglected neighborhoods, but restoring the power of community for those families.
