Neighbors First Program

Spring 2020 Update: Due to funding issues related to the pandemic, Revitalize Mississippi has indefinitely paused its Neighbors First Program. We will resume demolition and lot clearing operations as soon as funding allows.

Revitalize Mississippi and the Mississippi Secretary of State's office developed and implemented the Neighbors First program in late 2016.

Through that program, Revitalize Mississippi donates its demolition and clean-up services to the State to clean up state-owned property in residential neighborhoods. The properties are then sold to neighbors or neighborhood stakeholders at a reduced price.
